Waukesha Police: Convicted sex offender released in city, has 'potential' to reoffend

WAUKESHA -- The Waukesha Police Department, in cooperation with the Sex Offender Registration Committee is alerting residents of a 26-year-old registered sex offender who is now living in the city. 

According to the police department, the offender, Benjamin C. Todd, has a criminal history which classifies him as someone that has a "potential" to re-offend.

Todd has served prison time -- but is now living under the supervision of the Department of Corrections and Division of Community Corrections at 110 E. Main St, APT. #6.

Todd was convicted in 2016 for Possession of Child Pornography and for having Sex with a Child age 16. He engaged in sexual contact and oral sex with two teenaged female acquaintances. At the time, Todd was active military and used his uniform to gain the trust of his victims.
