WAUKESHA — A Waukesha man has been charged with sexual exploitation of a child, and soliciting intimate representation from a minor after he used Instagram to request nude photos from minors.
Ryan Soderberg is facing charges after he used the Instagram name "sammyisabaddy" to assume the identity of a female, and targeted early-teenage boys and requested they send nude images to him.
According to a criminal complaint, Soderberg is believed to have victimized additional juveniles, primarily in the Waukesha and Wauwatosa area that have not been reported to police. Other account names may have been used but they're unknown at this time.
The Waukesha Sheriff's office is requesting that anyone with information that may be beneficial to the investigation contact Detective Mark Conrad at (262) 691-6038.
