WATERFORD — The Village of Waterford is coming together and asking HGTV to choose their town as the next HGTV makeover project.
"Home Town Takeover" is a new HGTV series where hosts Ben and Erin Napier will go to towns across the country and complete total makeovers.
A Village of Waterford is getting in on the action and applying to be one of the featured towns.
Waterford is currently working to gather photos and videos of the town in order to complete the application. One of the videos, which they plan to record Wednesday, will feature a "huge group of kids" in the high school gym. The kids will all be screaming "HGTV pick Waterford."
The Village of Waterford has even created a Facebook page showcasing the photos and videos that they are submitting to HGTV.
