A Virginia mother is making waves within a suburban Washington, D.C. aquatics program, reports ArlingtonNow.com.
Lynn, who would not provide her last name, told parks and recreation employees that a male swimming instructor shouldn't show so much skin and needs to wear a t-shirt when teaching children how to swim.
A parks and recreation staff member responded that the only thing a swimming instructor is required to wear is appropriate swimming trucks, and indicated that the instructor had already been following proper protocol.
Lynn then took her gripe to media outlets in the D.C. area and said she finds skin-to-skin contact “intolerable."
She further states that other parents have complained to the parks and recreation department with similar concerns.
"Unfortunately the male instructor’s breasts were flopping on the water and we felt extremely uncomfortable with her getting into the water skin-to-skin and in such close proximity to his intimate space. When I mentioned this to the Parks & Rec representative she told me that other parents had also complained,” Lynn said.
Do you think Lynn has a legitimate complaint?
