Vitrano, Kim to appear in 'A Christmas Carol'

MILWAUKEE -- Christmas arrives early at WTMJ Radio in a never-before-seen rendition of "A Christmas Carol," starring Charlie Sykes, Wayne Larrivee and a cast of WTMJ hosts and local voices.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 at Turner Hall in Milwaukee.

The radio play will be recorded in front of a live studio audience and replayed on-air throughout the Christmas Season on 620 WTMJ and at WTMJ.com.

The cast is composed of WTMJ’s familiar voices and other local celebrities.

Charlie Sykes will star in the play as “Ebenezer Scrooge” and Packers play-by-play voice Wayne Larrivee, will serve as “The Narrator.”

Also scheduled to appear: Gene Mueller, Jane Matenaer, Jeff Wagner, John Mercure, Greg Matzek, Larry McCarren, Mark Tauscher, Vince Vitrano, Susan Kim, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn along with more well-known surprise Wisconsin celebrities.

Tickets are $20 (general admission seats) and are available at Pabsttheater.org and WTMJ.com.

Proceeds from the event support Kids2Kids Christmas, which teaches kids the lesson of helping less fortunate kids during the holidays.
