MILWAUKEE — A vigil will be held Monday for the Milwaukee Police officer killed while on his way home from work.
Officer Kou Her was traveling home in his personal vehicle after his shift on June 18 when the suspect. 34-year-old Dante James hit the officer after running a red light near N. 60th Street and Capitol Drive.
The vigil is planned to begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday June 24th at the scene of the crash.
Her was a two-year veteran of the department, assigned to District 4.
