MILWAUKEE -- There is more outcry over the death of a 4-year-old Milwaukee boy.

Antonio Distacio was found dead inside of a apartment on 17th and Grant Thursday morning. A 23-year-old woman was arrested in connection with this case.

On Sunday night, Guardians of the Children organized a vigil for Distacio -- hoping justice is served.

"Here we are all saying goodbye and farewell to this beautiful child, little Antonio, long before his time and that just doesn't feel right. We want to honor his short life and do what we can for him," said LJ, a member of Guardians of the Children.

For the first time we're hearing from Distacio's family right outside of the home he was found dead in.

"I wish, it's just crazy, I just want to know why, why though? He's a little kid, like why? Why my nephew?” said Anthony Bardwell, an uncle.

A 23 year old woman described as a family member of Distacio was arrested.

"It's just crazy man,” said Eva Allen, an aunt. "The family we're just trying to cope, trying to figure everything out you know it's hard right now."

And until then they’re going to take it one day at a time as they get through this tragedy together.

"If you suspect it, report it please, you could save a child's life," said LJ.

Guardians of the Children say they will go to court for Distacio until justice is served.
