The victim of a fire in Plymouth was identified as Tammy Aschenbach Friday, who was missing after the blaze tore through an apartment building.
Plymouth Police said the 47-year-old went back inside the burning building thinking her children were inside and never came back out. She was officially listed as missing after the fire.
On Thursday, Aschenbach's friends feared she was the person found dead in the fire.
Her children are physically O.K. according to police.
On Facebook, police said an autopsy was conducted to conclude that the person found dead was Aschenbach.
