Milwaukee police have recovered the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash Sunday night. A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the crash.
The incident happened near 1st and Chase Sunday night. The victim was a 36-year-old woman who was crossing the street.
Police say they located the suspected vehicle in the 4800 block of North 55th Street about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. They put out a request for help in finding the vehicle Monday.
Milwaukee police said the suspect was arrested on Tuesday.
The identity of the suspect has not been released.
