The van Elkhorn police were searching for in the case of a violent sexual assaulthas been identified, and the van and the individuals who were in the van do not appear to be involved.
On Thursday, police reported a woman was attacked and sexually assaulted in a parking lot near Lincoln and Geneva Streets after the victim left work.
Relatives of the woman went looking for her and found her being assaulted. The woman was hurt so badly she was unable to speak with police when her relatives called 911.
