An officer with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Police Department captured the suspected meteor which was spotted across several states early Monday, including Wisconsin.
The UWPD posted the video on its official Twitter account Monday, which caught the large flash many have reported seeing as the officer drives near the Waisman Center, followed by a dimmer trail of light.
The sightings have been reported across Wisconsin including Green Bay, Fond du Lac and Milwaukee.
