A University of Wisconsin-Madison fraternity has been suspended after officials say the organization violated university policy against hazing new members.

According to our sister station WISC-TV, the Alpha Sigma Phi's Kappa Chapter was suspended for pressuring members to wear Dora the Explorer backpacks and carry fruit around campus during the semester of Fall 2018.

The chapter has been suspended from all university activities through Mar. 24 and is on general probation until Dec. 11.

The fraternity has the right to appeal the decision.
