The U.S. Bank Fireworks display on July 3 could be no more if the event does not find a backer by April 1.
The event has been a Milwaukee tradition held at Veterans Park for over 40 years.
According to the Milwaukee County Parks, the event requires two barges on Lake Michigan to shoot the fireworks off of for 45 minutes. In total, the event costs $350,000.
As of now, no local businesses have committed to sponsoring the event.
