Two shootings in Milwaukee Thursday night

MILWAUKEE -- There were two shootings in Milwaukee Thursday night.

The first incident happened at approximately 6 p.m. near 87th Street and Silver Spring Drive.

Milwaukee police said the victim was driving when someone in another vehicle fired several shots at him. The victim, a 25-year-old man, was able to get to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

There are no suspects in custody.

The second incident happened at approximately 10:50 p.m. near 29th Street and Fond du Lac Avenue. Milwaukee police said someone took out a gun and attempted to rob a victim. The victim, a 29-year-old man, fought with his attacker and was shot during the struggle.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

There are no suspects in custody.
