MEQUON — Two people reportedly were injured in a 10-car crash on northbound Interstate 43 near Mequon Road about 5:40 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
Both people were transported to Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon with non-life-threatening injuries.
Icy road conditions played a factor in the accident, police said, and the interstate was partially shut down for about four hours due to the accident and continuing hazardous road conditions.
