A two-month-old infant passed away Monday after it was reported choking, Fond du Lac police say.
Police were called to a home on Merrill Avenue at around 12:52 a.m. and found the infant not breathing.
The baby was taken to SSM Health Emergency Department, but CPR and lifesaving measures were unsuccessful and the child was pronounced dead.
Police did not say if anyone was charged or suspected in the death. The incident is still under investigation.
