Two in custody after Walmart theft and car chase

The driver reached speeds of 110 miles per hour.

On Sunday, two suspects were taken into custody after a car chase in Germantown.

The pursuit began when the Germantown Police Department received a report of a theft in progress at the Walmart on Appleton Avenue. 

When officers approached the suspected car, the vehicle took off. It reached speeds of 110 miles per hour before crashing over eight miles away on State Highway 145. 

The two suspects then got out of the car and ran away from police until the officers caught them. 

The suspect driver is a 36-year-old male with five outstanding warrants for his arrest, and the suspect passenger is a 39-year-old female with four outstanding warrants for her arrest. Both are from Milwaukee.
