Two burglaries occurred this week in Ozaukee County, officials tell TODAY'S TMJ4.
The first burglary happened on Monday, July 18 approximately 11 a.m. in the 1000 block of CTH C in the town of Grafton.
There was forced entry made to a locked door of the residence, and to a detached garage, according to Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
Suspects took several items including electronics, cash, jewelry, tools, alcohol, and other valuables.
The second burglary took place on Wednesday, July 20 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. in 2800 block of S. Riverside Dr. in the town of Saukville.
Suspects in Saukville took items including electronics, jewelry, cash, and prescription medications.
Both places were ransacked, according to authorities.
Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office said that these burglaries appear to be similar in nature based on location of targeted residence, items taken, and the time of day that they were committed.
Both residences were located in a remote area with long driveways that are not visible from the road and are close to the freeway.
Police ask the public to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior during the daytime.
