City of Delavan Police are investigating a double shooting that left two dead and one injured early Sunday.
Authorities responded to a report of shots fired just after midnight near 127 N. Walworth Street in the Village of Darien. Upon arrival, officers found one man dead outside the apartment, possibly from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, a second man dead inside the apartment with multiple gunshot wounds and a woman injured from a gunshot wound.
Police say there is no further danger to the community.
The woman was transported to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. Names of the deceased have not yet been released.
