FORT ATKINSON, Wis. — The Fort Atkinson Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire on the 400 block of Milo St on Saturday, Jan. 23, around 3:23 a.m.
Upon arrival, fire crews found a two-story home with "heavy fire throughout."
Fire officials report that two young boys became trapped in the home and died in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Wisconsin State Fire Marshals office.
The names of the boys have not been released yet.
