The Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison has announced the birth of two African penguins Friday morning.
WISC-TV in Madison reports that the two penguins, Robben and Dassen, hatched three days apart on Dec. 30 and Jan. 2, respectively.
The chicks have their juvenile waterproof feathers and will begin swimming lessons starting next week.
Robben and Dassen are the seventh and eight chicks of their parents.
