J.J. Watt has now raised more than $12 million and the amount just keeps on growing, and his foundation is also collecting needed donations.
Thursday there were long lines at Pewaukee High School, not just of cars but of volunteers filling trucks heading to Texas.
Eight trucks in total filled with everything from water, to blankets, to food and toothbrushes.

James Evans may be a Chicago Bears fan but the truck driver is now a J.J. Watt fan. He’s driven all over the country but this may be his most meaningful trip.
“I got kind of excited, I’m doing my part with everything that’s going on. It’s totally different from all of the other ones, it means a little more getting to help other people,” Evans said.
Thursday was the third and final day of the Watt Foundation’s supply drive and with the school still packed with items. Watt’s mother says in times of tragedy you see the good in people.
“I just think it’s phenomenal, no better word than to say we’re grateful because they need it,” Watt said.
The Pewaukee community rolling up their sleeves helping out any way they can.
And even though the $10 million online fundraiser goal has been reached Watt says he’ll keep the link up because this will be a long recovery for the Gulf Coast.
“I want to make sure that people know that the help is going to continue,” said Connie Watt, J.J.’s mother.
The trucks are leaving Thursday night and are supposed to reach Texas Saturday morning.
