PLEASANT PRAIRIE –  Another truck driver was attacked and robbed at a rest stop in southeast Wisconsin this week. The most recent attacked occurred in Kenosha County.

According to police, a 39-year-old Weston, Wisconsin man was attacked at the rest stop in the Kenosha Area Convention and Visitors Bureau - located at I-94 and HWY 165. 

It happened just before 6 a.m. Thursday. Police say the victim’s wallet was stolen and he suffered from a head injury during the attack. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. Police say the victim was unable to give them any other information about the incident due to his injuries.

Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect believed to be involved in the incident. 

Police are looking into possible links to similar attacks across the state – including an attack Monday night at a Dodge County rest stop.
