OCONOMOWOC — Police say there is no longer any threat to the public after two officer-involved shootings in the area of Highway 67 and Interstate 94 in Waukesha County.
At a late-night news conference, officials would not say if anyone was killed in the shootings, but said the scene was still fluid and multiple agencies were investigating.
Earlier in the evening, police said a man had barricaded himself in a minivan on Highway 67 and was armed. Amateur video showed squad cars chasing the minivan at low speeds.
The closure began just after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
