A traffic accident caused a significant backup on Interstate-43 North near Good Hope Road Friday afternoon.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department had closed the left lane of the freeway due to a multi-vehicle collision, causing a traffic backup for miles. Officials re opened all lanes of the freeway at about 2:45 p.m.
