Some significant overnight closures will take place the next two nights in and around the Zoo Interchange. Crews will be completing deck pours on a new Wisconsin avenue bridge on Tuesday into Wednesday and on a new systems ramp from I-94 east bound to I-41 north bound beginning Wednesday night. . Full closures will be used for both operations.
Here are the closures as posted on the Wisconsin Department of Transpiration website.
Tuesday 11pm to Wednesday 4:30am
• There will be a full closure overnight I-41/894 NB at Greenfield Ave for a deck pour.
• There will be a full closure overnight I-41 SB at Watertown Plank Rd for a deck pour.
Wednesday night into Thursday morning
• There will be a full closure overnight I-41/894 NB at Greenfield Ave for a deck pour.
• There will be a full closure overnight I-94 WB at the Zoo Interchange for a deck pour.
The work is a major step in the completion of the new bridge and system ramp. Both structures could be completed by Memorial Day weekend.
