HUBERTUS, Wis. -- A tornado reported by a trained spotter in Hubertus, Wisconsin early Wednesday evening has been confirmed by the National Weather Service Milwaukee.

The tornado has been given a preliminary EF0 rating, which means wind speeds were between 65 and 85 miles per hour.

Wednesday's tornado included peak winds at an estimated 80 miles per hour, the NWS says.

The report was made just after a tornado warning was issued for Washington County. The warning has since been canceled.

The NWS plans to take a storm survey of land in southern Washington County Thursday.
