Bitterly cold weather is on the way after the Milwaukee area saw between 5 to 9 inches of snow from a storm that ended Wednesday.
Before wind chills, which may hit -30 degrees on Friday morning, arrive, it is necessary to remove snow from sidewalks, driveways and roads.
Many people use too much salt, according to a tweet from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
The DNR says a coffee cup full of salt should be enough for 60 to 70 feet of sidewalk.
