MILWAUKEE -- Times Cinema will screen three special showings of Prince's "Purple Rain" in honor of the iconic singer who died Thursday.

The 1984 film, which won an Oscar for Original Song Score at the 1985 Academy Awards, will be shown at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, Wednesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 29.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased here.

A theater spokesperson said an on-screen pre-show will have a musical tribute as well, so customers should arrive early.

Prince, 57, was found unconscious in an elevator on April 21. First responders tried to revive him with CPR, but were unsuccessful. His cause of death is unknown at this time.
