Police said it's too early to know if the victims were targeted. They continue to seek a motive and search for suspect(s).
"This is a shocker," said Deb Ingrassia, who works Downtown. "I've lived in the Blatz Building, which is right over here, in the past. I've always felt safe here."
Toddrick Griffin, who lives and works in the area, said the intersection where the shooting occured gets very crowded on weekends.
He said he would like to see more police patrols in the area.
"Downtown is an area where a lot of our attractions are. We're supposed to be able to come down here and enjoy ourselves after work, or just be able to come down here and have fun on the weekends," Griffin said. "So hearing about (the shooting) is most definitely a frightening thing."
