Three double shootings, one fatal, overnight into early Saturday morning

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police are investigating three separate double shootings that happened Friday night into early Saturday morning.

The first shooting occurred on Friday, Oct. 30, at about 8:30 p.m. on the 600 block of W. Capitol.

According to police, a 36-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were shot and are currently at a local hospital being treated for their injuries. Both are expected to survive.

One of the victims was arrested in connection with this incident.

The second double shooting occurred on Sat, Oct. 31at approximately 5:45 a.m. on the 3500 block of W. Wisconsin Ave.

According to police, suspects approached the victims, demanded property, and fired several shots striking the victims.

A 45-year-old Milwaukee man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

A 39-year-old man was also transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The suspects for this shooting are unknown at this time.

The third double shooting occurred on Saturday, Oct. 31, at approximately 6:45 a.m., on the W. Atkinson Ave.

A 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old man both sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They walked into a local hospital for treatment.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Police are seeking unknown suspects.
