MILWAUKEE -- Nearly 30,000 We Energies customers lost power Sunday afternoon after severe storms passed through southeast Wisconsin and the Fox Valley.
We Energies says their crews have safely restored power to more than 29,000 customers since 1 p.m. Sunday.
As of 6:05 a.m. Monday, We Energies is reporting 1,218 customers are still without power across Wisconsin. More than 800 of those customers are in the Milwaukee area.

The power company says "all available resources will remain in the field throughout the night with additional contract crews coming in to assist."
