MILWAUKEE — Have you wanted to sail on Lake Michigan? Raise money and exercise at the same time? Those are just two events available during a fun-filled weekend in Milwaukee, and Visit Milwaukee has some others to consider.
— Sprecher Brewery is partnering with the Denis Sullivan for a family-friendly sail today. The adventure is perfect for families and children of all ages. You’ll enjoy a two-hour sail on Lake Michigan.
— Enlightened Brewery is hosting a two-hour sail Saturday, but you should leave the kids at home for this one.
— Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is celebrating 25 years of partnering with Briggs & Stratton for the annual "Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk" on Saturday. The event is one of the largest and longest-running fundraising events in Wisconsin, raising more than $21 million in total to benefit the thousands of children served every year by Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
— The Harley-Davidson Museum is hosting an Autism-Friendly Day with Autism Speaks on Saturday.
— Maker Faire is partnering with the Betty Brinn Children's Museum this weekend at the Wisconsin Center District.
— The Jewish Film Festival starts this weekend, too. The festival is scheduled Sunday through Thursday at Marcus North Shore Cinema in Mequon.
