Texas man stabs Texas man with broken beer bottle after argument in Ozaukee County

BELGIUM, Wis. – A 25-year-old Texas man is behind bars at the Ozaukee County jail after he stabbed another Texas man with a broken beer bottle after an argument.
 
It happened just after 2 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Main St. and Elevator Lane in the Village of Belgium.
 
According to the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the area after receiving two hang-up 911 calls. When deputies arrived to the scene, they found the 20-year-old victim bleeding from his arm. 
Deputies then learned the two Texas men were involved in an argument before the stabbing occurred. 
 
The 20-year-old victim was transported to Aurora Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries and was later released.
 
The 25-year-old man was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital in Grafton by Port Washington Ambulance for injuries sustained in the altercation. 
 
The stabbing suspect is currently being held in the Ozaukee County Jail and charges are pending.
