OCONOMOWOC — A teen that went missing from Missouri was found in Oconomowoc Monday, police say.
The 14-year-old girl has been missing from Joplin Missouri since Sept. 17. On Monday, she was brought to the Oconomowoc Police Department where she told police who she was.
Officers at the department contacted the Joplin Police Department and verified her identity. The next day, she was reunited with family.
Police say a 19-year-old male drove to Missouri and picked up the girl and brought her back to Oconomowoc. She has been staying with him since then.
Now, police have arrested that man and are investigating the incident along with the Joplin Police Department, and the FBI.
