MILWAUKEE — Tearman Spencer has won the race to be Milwaukee's next city attorney, beating out Grant Langley, who has been in the position for 36 years.
After testing positive for COVID-19, Spencer has come back and taken away the title of City Attorney from Langley.
These results are not a total surprise since Spencer got more votes during the primary election a few weeks back. However, it is still worth noting since Langley has held the title for the past 36 years.
Langley took on the role of city attorney back in 1984 with his current term ending in 2020. Once that term is up, Spencer will step in.
