MILWAUKEE — An ageless coach. A traditional power. And a big, bounce-back win. That's why Waukesha Catholic Memorial is our Friday Football Frenzy, Team of the Week.

After losing by 27 to Menomonee Falls, the Crusaders came back and rolled Grafton 42-7.

"We grew up after the Falls game. And we had a great week of prep for Grafton," Waukesha Catholic Memorial Head Coach Bill Young says.

Playing in a pandemic has made things interesting. But the Crusaders, are grateful.

"Unbelievably blessed," Catholic Memorial Quarterback Rory Fox says. "You know, you see it throughout every week. You know, teams are going down because of the virus and everything. So, to be out here every day, practicing, playing football, you know it's a blessing."

"It's been a struggle," Young says. "But you know, we've got great kids. They bought into the fact that you gotta take care of business, on a daily basis, in order to hopefully play on a Friday night. So, you know it's a year of adapting and being able to overcome any obstacles that are thrown at you during the week and our kids have done a pretty good job of it so far."

And then there's the head coach. Bill "Forever" Young.

"I love it. I love it, I love his energy!" Catholic Memorial running back "OB" Allen says. "He comes to work, and he puts everything toward what he does. So I appreciate it a lot."

"I'll turn 70 in November," Young says. "And I've been blessed. My wife Gail is awesome. My daughter Sarah wants me to coach until I'm 90."

And his grandkids get in on the postgame fun.

"You know, we gotta get a little clock time for Elsie and James, but love 'em and it's, football has always been a family thing at the Young's and Memorial's been wonderful to me and I love this school," Young says.

TMJ4 Main Sports Anchor Lance Allan says hey, they had a tough one against Menomonee Falls but it's not what you did the week before. It's what you do now, and they clearly had a bounce-back week against Grafton. Catholic Memorial, you guys are our team of the week. Take it away guys!

Team says Let's go, Memorial on 3. 1-2-3 Memorial!
