MILWAUKEE — A driver of a small SUV is dead after colliding with a flatbed truck at about 12:39 a.m. Friday on southbound Interstate 894 at West Greenfield Avenue, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of the SUV was trapped inside the vehicle, police said, and MCSO deputies contacted the West Allis Fire Department.
The driver was extracted from the vehicle and transported to the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, where the driver was pronounced dead at 1:08 a.m.
MCSO is investigating the crash to determine the factors that were involved.
