MILWAUKEE -- A reckless driver crashed their car on a Stadium Interchange ramp during a police chase -- and then jumped into the Menomonee River to still try and get away from police.
It all started Monday, just after 7:30 p.m., when Milwaukee Police saw the suspect driving recklessly at 54th and Keefe.
Police say they pursued the vehicle until it crashed on the I-94 eastbound ramp in the Stadium Interchange.
The driver then jumped over the retaining wall of the ramp -- into the Menomonee River below -- and still tried to run from police through the river.
Police eventually located the suspect and took them into custody.
