MILWAUKEE — The suspect of the homicide that occurred on Sept. 12 at 4th and Greenfield died by suicide on Sept. 15 at his residence.
Man shot, killed near 4th and Greenfield Saturday
Police were dispatched to 21-year-old Tyriek Hosey’s residence for a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Hosey had recently been identified as the suspect in the homicide death of Justus Bornefield-Ettman through multiple videos, including videos from the Milwaukee County bus system, police say.

According to police, Hosey has had mental health issues and had been making homicidal and suicidal statements.
He had been hospitalized at Rogers recently for his mental health issues, police say.
