Suspect arrested for online threat to harm Franklin High School students

FRANKLIN – One person has been arrested for making a threat on social media to harm students at Franklin High School.

Franklin Police say on Monday around 10 p.m., they were made aware of a social media post that referred plans to harm students at the high school on Tuesday.

Police investigated the complaint and determined it not to be credible. 

About an hour later, police were able to find the person behind the threat and took them into custody.

Police say their investigation is ongoing and charges against the subject are pending.
