The baby lynx stolen from the Animal Gardens petting zoo have been returned, according to the owner.
The owners say a car with two women pulled up to drop off the baby cats. A woman crying handed over the two baby lynx to an employee. The petting zoo is now checking the cats.
The lynx were stolen on July 3 from the petting zoo. The owners were offering a $1,000 reward for their return.
Police released surveillance video earlier Wednesday showing a black truck with a specific paint job driving away with the animals.
It is unclear at this time if charges will be filed against the suspect/suspects.
