This Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the report of a crash on I94 westbound at Mile Marker 251 in Dane County Wednesday, Jan. 20, around 5:25 a.m.
Upon arrival, troopers found a single vehicle that had left the roadway, entered the right ditch and struck a tree.
The only occupant, a man, was found unresponsive and CPR was performed immediately, troopers say.
EMS arrived shortly; however, life-saving measures were unsuccessful for the driver.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. No other information has been released at his time.
