SULLIVAN (AP) — A spring storm heading toward Wisconsin this week is expected to cause rivers to rise again, but how much is still a question.

Meteorologist Aidan Kuroski at the National Weather Service in Sullivan said Monday that southern Wisconsin probably is looking at about 1 to 2 inches of precipitation, while northern Wisconsin will get more of the snow, possibly 5 to 9 inches.

Kuroski says rivers in Wisconsin have been going down steadily. He says warmer weather has helped thaw the ground, so he expects more of the water to seep into the soil.
