Kids who want their picture with the Easter Bunny can hop to the The Bunny Photo Experience at Southridge Mall starting Friday.
On Sunday April 2 from 9-10:30 a.m., families with children with special needs can attend the Caring Bunny event, which will offer a subdued environment for them to get their photo taken with the bunny. Steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, "creating a more comforting environment for children's cherished visit," the mall says.
Also on April 2, the mall will host pet photo night, and visitors can bring their furry friends to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny as well.
Peter Rabbit will be returning to the mall through April 15.
“We love to hold family-friendly events and look forward to providing a fun space for children to interact with the Easter Bunny,” said Cheryl Rouse, director of marketing and business development at Southridge Mall, in a news release.
The event is sponsored by The Gymboree Corporation, and hosted by Simon Malls.
