WAUKESHA -- There is a pent up demand for homes in Southeast Wisconsin, making it a seller's market.
During the Great Recession for example, Realtor Lisa Pfaff tells TODAY'S TMJ4's Julia Fello it could take up to two years to sell a home in Waukesha.
The Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors has found many selling in days. We were shown a three bedroom home that sold for full asking price within 30 days.
"Waukesha had the biggest home price increase of nearly $8,000," said Monica Baer, Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors.
Other popular cities GMAR highlights, include: Milwaukee with a ten percent increase in the number of homes sold; Shorewood with a 14 percent increase and South Milwaukee with a five percent increase.
