Thousands of Sprint customers in Wisconsin reported issues with their cellular service Tuesday morning.
Sprint's official customer service presence on Twitter alerted users to the problem just after 10:00 a.m. Monday:
Some customers in Wisconsin are experiencing intermittent access to voice and data service. We’re working quickly as possible to resolve.

Affected customers can't seem to access voice, data, or messaging functionality if they aren't connected to wi-fi.
Popular cell service website DownDetector.com's Sprint outage map showed that nearly the entire state looked to be affected as of 11:00 a.m.
The same site's outage chart showed thousands of customers have reported problems. There's no word yet on what may have caused the outage.
