A beloved snow leopard was euthanized at the Milwaukee County Zoo recently.
According to a post on the Zoo's Facebook page, the decision to euthanize Tomiris was due to "quality of life issues."
Tomiris was 17 years old.
Zoo officials say the leopard would greet his handlers each morning with a "grump" and a rub on the fence.
