Snow, cold return to Sheboygan Friday

Outside was the place to be just days ago, and now beaches are covered in snow. Sheboygan was one of the hardest hit communities by winter's return.

"It's hard to get back into winter, but it gives you hope. You know it's coming sooner or later, hopefully sooner," Laurie Bersch said.

The unpredictable conditions made the Coast Guard close the piers in Sheboygan.

"The weather can change in a minute you know, but it's Wisconsin weather so you expect it," Thai Yang said.

Steve Boucher calls the change in weather a slap in the face.

"It's definitely one of those where it's like here we go again. Time to get the shovels out," Steve Boucher said.

Phones have been off the hook at Trilling True Value downtown.

"People are asking about fertilizers....and now all of a sudden everybody's snow blower belts are broken," Kelly Lawrence said.

Calls went from grills to shovels, lawn mowers to snow blowers and soil back to salt in a matter of days.
