WAUKESHA — The Waukesha Police Department is looking for John Abel. Police say Abel left his home in Waukesha Tuesday night at around 5:00 p.m. to visit his brother in Wausau and has yet to show up.
Abel contacted his brother by phone while he was at the St. Vincent de Paul store on Sunset Dr. in Waukesha.
He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, flannel shirt, beige and red vest, and blue jeans. He's described as 5'8" and 247 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Abel drives a 2006 Silver Volvo XC70 with the license plate number 173ZEK. The car is missing its rear bumper shield and appears as if he was rear-ended.
